Fuel Pressure Sensor: Description and Operation
Fuel Pressure SensorContinuously monitors the fuel pressure between the fuel rail and plenum, this value is used by the ECM as one of its factors to calculate the injector pulse-width required to deliver the correct mass of fuel per injection. The ECM also uses this information to demand a specific fuel flow-rate from the fuel pump via the fuel pump module.
