Range / performance failure
The oil temperature movement is monitored during the warm up phase of a trip. If the coolant temperature is cool enough at start and rises by the required amount then a judgement is made on the oil temperature. If the oil temperature movement (maximum reading for the trip - minimum reading for the trip) has not been sufficient then a failure judgement will be made else a normal judgement will be made.
