Thermostatic Air Cleaner: Service and Repair

THERMAL SENSOR, REPLACE

1. Remove air cleaner and disconnect vacuum lines from sensor.
2. Break vacuum nipples off sensor, then remove sensor and gasket from air cleaner.
3. Reverse procedure to install.

TRAP DOOR VACUUM MOTOR, REPLACE

1. Disconnect vacuum lines, ambient and heated air ducts, and remove air cleaner.
2. Remove vacuum motor attaching rivet, rotate motor to clear door arm, and remove the motor.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
