4-150 ENGINE
The distributor, Fig. 5, for the 4-150 engine incorporates no electrical components other than the distributor cap and rotor. The distributor is used only to transmit high voltage from the to the spark plugs in the correct firing order. When servicing the distributor do not remove the silicone dielectric compound from the rotor blade. If a replacement rotor is to be installed, apply a thin coat of silicone dielectric compound to rotor blade.
