P0105-ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE / BAROMETRIC PRESSURE SENSOR

- When Monitored:
With engine speed within 64 RPM of target idle, MAP sensor voltage between.04 volts and 4.96 volts, no vehicle speed, and the throttle closed.

- Set Condition:
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the MAP sensor input voltage is not within an acceptable range during the reading of barometric pressure. One trip fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.

NOTE: Diagnose and repair any MAP sensor circuit DTCs before continuing with this test.

1. Perform the diagnostic procedure for CHECKING THE MAP SENSOR OPERATION. Checking the MAP Sensor Operation.

Were any problems found?

Yes

- Repair as necessary.
- Perform the PCM VERIFICATION TEST. PCM Verification Test.

No

- Perform the CHECKING FOR AN INTERMITTENT DTC Diagnostic Procedure. Checking for an Intermittent DTC.
