Disassembly

Alternator - Components:

ALTERNATOR

DISASSEMBLY

1. Remove the generator cover (A) using a screw driver (B).
2. Remove the slip ring guide (A).

3. Loosen the mounting bolts (B) and disconnect the regulator assembly (C).

4. Remove the rectifier (A) with 4 screws.

5. Remove the nut, and the pulley (A).

6. Loosen the 4 through bolts (A).

7. Disconnect the rotor (A) and cover (B).
8. Reassembly is the reverse order of disassembly.
