Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Testing and Inspection
TRUNK LID/TAILGATE OPEN SWITCH INSPECTION 1.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2.
Remove the rear trunk lid trim, then remove the trunk lid switch from the trunk lid striker.
3.
Disconnect the 1P connector from the rear harness.
4.
Check for continuity between the terminal and body while pushing the rod.
