ABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU)

Service Repair No - 70.65.01

Remove

1. Disconnect battery negative lead.





2. Remove 2 nuts securing washer reservoir filler neck to body.
3. Release washer reservoir filler neck from 2 studs.
4. Release clip securing intake hose to engine acoustic cover.
5. Release intake hose from engine acoustic cover and remove hose.





6. Release multiplug from ABS ECU.
7. Remove 3 Torx bolts securing ABS ECU to ABS modulator.
8. Carefully withdraw ABS ECU from ABS modulator and remove ABS ECU.

Refit

1. Fit ABS ECU to ABS modulator, fit and tighten bolts to 4 Nm (3 ft. lbs.)
2. Connect multiplug to ABS ECU.
3. Fit intake hose and connect to engine acoustic cover, secure with clip.
4. Fit washer reservoir filler neck to studs, fit and tighten nuts to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
5. Connect battery negative cable.
6. Using T4, configure a new ECU.
