Rear Differential Front Mounting

Rear Differential Front Mounting

Service Repair No: - 51.15.43

Remove

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle only supported by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

1. Raise vehicle on a four post lift.

2. Remove two bolts securing both rear differential mountings to sub-frame.





3. Remove two bolts securing front mounting to differential.

4. Remove bolt securing front mounting to sub-frame.





5. Ease differential away from front mounting and remove front mounting.

Install

1. Install front differential mounting.

2. Position centralising jig LRT 51-013 to align differential assembly.





3. Install bolt securing front mounting to sub-frame and tighten to 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.).

4. Install bolts securing front mounting to differential and tighten to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).

5. Install bolts securing rear mountings to sub-frame and tighten to 120Nm (88.5 ft. lbs.)

6. Remove LRT-51-013.
