Integrated Head Unit



86.53.46 Integrated head unit

Remove
1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
2. Remove display unit.





3. Remove 4 Torx screws securing integrated head unit assembly to fascia.





4. If fitted: Disconnect 2 cables and fibre optic connector from VICS receiver.

CAUTION: Cover fibre optic cable connectors to minimize dust ingress. Avoid bending the cables in a radius of less than 30 mm.

5. Disconnect 2 multiplugs, cable and fibre optic connection from the integrated head unit. Remove the assembly.

CAUTION: Cover fibre optic cable connectors to minimize dust ingress and avoid bending the cables in a radius of less than 30 mm.

Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only.





6. Remove 4 Torx screws securing integrated head unit. Remove the unit.

Refit
1. Fit integrated head unit and secure with screws.
2. If fitted: Connect cables and fibre optic connector to VICS receiver.
3. Connect multiplugs, cable and fibre optic connector to integrated head unit assembly and secure with screws.
4. Fit display unit.
5. Initiate a new component using TestBook/T4.
