Windshield Wiper Motor

Removal
1 Remove the plenum chamber panel. For additional information, refer to Plenum Chamber Service and Repair




2 Remove the windshield wiper motor and linkage.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the 2 clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
Noting the fitted position, remove the wiper linkage.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the nut.

Installation
1 Install the wiper linkage.
- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
- Tighten the nut to 25 Nm (18 lb.ft).

CAUTION: Make sure the windshield wiper motor is located on its stud prior to installing the bolts.
Install the windshield wiper motor and linkage.
- Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm (4 lb.ft).
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the clips.
