Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECT THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR a.
Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
b.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals VC and E2.
Resistance:
1.25 - 2.35 kOhms at
20°C (68°F) If the resistance is not as specified, replace the
throttle position sensor.
c.
Reconnect the
throttle position sensor connector.
