Radiator Cooling Fan Control Module: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER
Remove the 2 clips, and pull out the under cover.
2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL AND GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 4 screws.
b. Disconnect the connectors, and remove the finish panel and compartment door assembly.
3. DISCONNECT COOLING FAN ECU CONNECTOR
4. INSPECT COOLING FAN ECU
a. Connect negative (-) terminal cable to battery.








b. Check the connector on the wiring harness side as shown in the chart.
c. Disconnect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
5. RECONNECT COOLING FAN ECU CONNECTOR
6. REINSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL AND GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the connectors.
b. Install the finish panel and compartment door assembly with the 4 screws.
7. REINSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER
Install the under cover with the 2 clips.
