Power Seat Switch: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTIONINSPECT FRONT PASSENGER'S POWER SEAT SWITCH CONTINUITY
Slide switch:
Reclining Switch
Front vertical switch:
Lifter switch:
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
INSPECT FRONT PASSENGER'S POWER SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT
a. Disconnect the switch connector and connect the seat wire harness to the floor wire harness.
b. Inspect the connector on the wire harness side.
If circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
INSPECT DRIVER'S LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH CONTINUITY
Upper side control:
Lower Side Control
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
INSPECT DRIVER'S LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH CIRCUIT
a. Disconnect the switch connector and connect the seat wire harness to the floor wire harness.
b. Inspect the connector on the wire harness side.
If circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
INSPECT PASSENGER'S LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH CIRCUIT
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
INSPECT PASSENGER'S LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH CIRCUIT
a. Disconnect the switch connector and connect the seat wire harness to the floor wire harness.
b. Inspect the connector on the wire harness side.
If circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
INSPECT PASSENGER POWER SEAT SUB SWITCH CONTINUITY
Slide switch:
Reclining switch:
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
INSPECT REAR SEAT RETURN SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
