Speed Sensor, Rear






REMOVAL
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE REAR WHEELHOUSE LINER
3. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION AND SEATBACK





4. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR
Disconnect the speed sensor connector, and pull out the sensor wire harness with the grommet.





5. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR
a. Left wheel:
Remove the 2 clamp bolts holding the sensor harness from the toe control link and body.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)
b. Right wheel:
Remove the 3 clamp bolts holding the sensor harness from the toe control link and body.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)
c. Right wheel:
Disconnect the pad wear indicator connector assembly from the speed sensor.
d. Remove the installation bolt and rear speed sensor from the rear axle carrier.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.)

NOTICE: At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
^ There are no foreign objects on the sensor or the rear axle carrier's installation part to which the sensor is to be installed.
^ The sensor is installed flat against the rear axle carrier when the bolt is tightened.

INSTALLATION
Installation is to be done in the reverse order of removal.

HINT: After installation, check speed sensor signal.
