1. General


As with the 4-Door sedan models, the 5-Door model has adopted a body construction that achieves high levels of both rigidity and safety.

2. Lightweight and Highly Rigid Body

High Strength Sheet Steel

High strength sheet steel has been used in order to ensure body rigidity and realize a lightweight body.

- 4-Door Sedan Model -

Reinforcement has been provided in the front pillar to help minimize cabin deformation~

- 5-Door Model -





^ Gussets and braces have been provided in the quarter wheel house to ensure body rigidity.

^ Gussets to join the lower back to the floor side member have been provided to ensure body rigidity.

^ A roof side outer reinforcement has been provided at the rear pillar to eusure body rigidity.

^ The quarter wheel house No. 2 brace, the back door opening frame, and the roof side outer reinforcement have been joined at the back door opening to eusure body rigidity.

Back Door





An all-aluminum back door has been adopted to achieve both high rigidity and weight reduction.
