Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair
YAW RATE SENSORREPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET
3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR
a. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
b. Remove the 2 nuts and yaw rate sensor.
5. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR
a. Install the yaw rate sensor with 2 nuts.
Torque: 12.5 Nm (127.5 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.)
b. Connect the yaw rate sensor connector.
6. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET
8. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
