Electronic Throttle Actuator: Testing and Inspection
On-Vehicle Inspection INSPECT THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR a.
Disconnect the throttle connector.
b.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the motor resistance between terminal (M+) and (M-).
Motor resistance:
0.3 - 100 Ohm at 20°C (68°F) If the resistance is not as specified, replace the
throttle body.
c.
Reconnect the
throttle body connector.
