Some 2004 model year RX 330 vehicles may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with one of the following DTCs:
- P0748 (Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Electrical-SLT Solenoid)
- P0798 (Pressure Control Solenoid "C" Electrical-SL3 Solenoid)
- P0985 (Shift Solenoid "E" Control Circuit Low-SR Solenoid)
- P0986 (Shift Solenoid "E" Control Circuit High-SR Solenoid)

One of these codes may be stored as a result of Engine Control Module or ECM (SAE Term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) manufacturing issues. Replacement of ECM will correct this condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2004
model year RX 330 vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Follow repair manual diagnostics for applicable DTC (P0748, P0798, P0985 or P0986) Refer to ETAS, 2004 model year RX 330 Repair Manual:
Section: Diagnostics; Electronic Controlled Automatic transaxle
Subsection: P0748 or P0798 or P0985 or P0986

2. If circuit tests OK per repair manual - replace the ECM.
