REPLACEMENT

HINT: The installation is in the revers order of the removal. However when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.

1. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSY

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

5. REMOVE TOOL BOX COVER

6. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSY

7. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSY

8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LOWER

9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH SIDE PLATE RH

10. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH SIDE PLATE LH

11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT




12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET FRONT
a. Remove the 2 nuts and 3 bolts.
b. Remove the 2 luggage compartment tray bracket fronts.




13. REMOVE MAYDAY ECU ASSY
a. Disconnect the connectors and clamps.

NOTE:
- Replace connector bracket A with a new one.
- Be sure not to remove connector B.

b. Remove the 4 nuts and mayday ECU assembly.

NOTE: The mayday ECU assembly should be replaced together with the telephone transceiver assembly.




14. INSTALL MAYDAY ECU ASSY
a. Install the mayday ECU assembly with the 4 nuts.

NOTE: Make sure that the last 4 digits of serial No. of the mayday ECU assembly correspond to those of the telephone transceiver assembly.

b. Connect the connectors and clamps.
