Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection
IGNITION SYSTEMON-VEHICLE INSPECTION 1.
INSPECT
IGNITION COIL ASSY
Check the input voltage.
1.
Disconnect the connector of the
ignition coil 2.
Turn the
ignition switch ON.
3.
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminal 1 (+B) of the wire harness side connector and the body ground.
Standard:
10 - 14 V 4.
Turn the
ignition switch OFF.
