Traction Control Module: Service and Repair






REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1





4. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the ECU and skid control buzzer connectors.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and ECU.
5. REMOVE SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY
a. Using pliers, remove the buzzer.
6. INSTALL SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Install the ECU with the 2 bolts.
Torque 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)
b. Connect the ECU and buzzer connectors.
8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1
9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH
10. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH
11. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
12. PERFORM STEERING ANGLE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
13. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
