Introduction

Initialize the power window for each door after installing the DCC fuse during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

The installation of the DCC fuse, and the initialization procedure shown below, will enable the "one-touch open and close" and "jam protection" functions for the power window of each door.

NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power window for each door MUST be re-initialized.

^ 2008 model year IS F vehicles.

Initialization Procedure





1. Push the engine switch to select the "IG-ON" mode.

At this time, the driver's door power window switch will blink.

2. Push the driver's door power window switch and lower the window halfway





3. Pull up the driver's door power window switch until the window closes, and continue to hold it up for more than one second.

At this time, the driver's door power window switch will stop blinking and the light will remain ON.

NOTE:
Jam protection function is enabled through the above initialization procedure.

4. Check for the proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.

5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 on the power window switch for each door.

6. Check that the power window switch light for each door remains ON.

NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power window for each door must be re-initialized.
