2GR-FE IGNITION: IGNITION COIL: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.
2. INSTALL NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY






(a) Install the No. 1 surge tank stay with the bolt.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)






(b) Install the bolt and clamp.
Torque: 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)
3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation

8. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Testing and Inspection

9. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS Testing and Inspection

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE Installation

13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization procedure Repair Instruction - Initialization.
HINT: Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
