BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT BATTERY CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH FRONT Removal
3. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH Removal
7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH Removal
8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL NO.1 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL NO.1 SAFETY PAD SUB- ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1 Removal
11. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly connector.





(b) Remove the 2 nuts and the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly.
