2GR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1)





(a) Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector and 2 clamps.





(b) Using SST, remove the oxygen sensor from the No. 3 exhaust front pipe sub-assembly.
SST: 09224-00010
NOTICE:
Do not damage the oxygen sensor.

2. REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST FRONT PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)
(a) Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, 2 compression springs and No. 3 exhaust front pipe sub-assembly.





3. REMOVE EXHAUST FRONT PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2) Removal
4. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2)





(a) Using SST, remove the oxygen sensor from the exhaust front pipe assembly.
