Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

MARK VII

1. Turn wipers on, then with wiper blades straight up on windshield, turn ignition key to ``off'' position.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove arm and blade assemblies.
3. Remove left side cowl top grille.
4. Remove drive arm to motor crankpin retaining clip, then disconnect drive arm from crankpin.
5. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector, then remove wiper motor retaining screws and the wiper motor from opening.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
