Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the instrument panel cluster finish panel.





2. Remove the steering column reinforcement.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the reinforcement.
3. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.





4. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder assembly.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the three screws.
3 Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder assembly.





5. NOTE: The ignition key should be in the OFF position.
Remove the ignition switch.
1 Remove the screw.
2 Remove the ignition switch.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
