Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Operate engine at idle until normal operating temperature is obtained.
2. Disconnect vent hose from cylinder head cover.
3. Close off vent hose opening with finger, if engine speed decreases PCV valve is operating properly. If engine speed remains the same, replace PCV valve.
