DESCRIPTION

This Service Bulletin is to explain the interchangeability of 1979-1982 RX-7 (with Manual Transmission) starters.

Although the starter drive in P/N 1757 18 40OR has eight (8) teeth and the drive in P/N N221 18 400R has eleven (11) teeth, P/N N221 18 40OR can be installed in place of P/N 1757 18 40OR starter.
