DESCRIPTION

The transmission fluid for the 1986 626 and some of the 1985 626 ATX models has been changed from Type F to Dexron II.

Dexron II is also recommended for the power steering on these models.

For the manual transmissions in areas where the temperatures are -18~C (0~F) or below ATF Type F or Dexron II can be used.

NOTE:
These fluids must not be intermixed. If a unit has Dexron II do not add Type F or vice-versa.
