Water Pump: Service and Repair
Engine Cooling System:
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Raise and support vehicle, then drain coolant.
3.
Remove engine under cover, then the fan belt.
4.
Disconnect water hose and bypass pipe, with O-ring, at water pump cover.
5.
Remove water pump attaching bolts and the water pump.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
7.
Tighten water pump mounting bolts to 14 - 22 ftlb (19 - 31 Nm).
