Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Testing and Inspection

1. Turn ignition switch on and off, ensuring main relay clicks.
2. If clicking is not heard at main relay, check continuity as follows:
a. Apply 12 volts and a ground to main relay terminals (5) and (6), Fig. 81.
b. Check continuity between terminals (1) and (2) and between terminals (3) and (4). If there is continuity with voltage not applied, or there is no continuity with voltage applied, replace main relay.
