The identification number (ID No.) has been provided for the audio component since 1988 model in order to make it easy to distinguish the audio manufacturer.

When you return the audio core to the service station, you are requested to confirm the audio manufacturer by the ID No.

HOW TO DECIPHER ID NO.

NOTE:
1) The ID No. is marked on the front panel of each audio component.
2) The ID No. consists of four digits or letters.



Listed below are the manufactures of the audio systems installed in 1988 vehicles. The manufacture can also be determined by checking the logo on the face of the audio system.
