TO: All Mazda Dealers

ATTENTION: All General Managers, Service Managers & Parts Managers

SUBJECT: 1988 MX-6 Main Fuse Block & Connector (X-04) Special Service Program --- SSP06


Mazda Motor Corporation has decided to conduct a special service program for the main fuse block and connector on certain 1988 MX-6 models starting on January 22, 1988.

Mazda has found that some 1988 MX-6 vehicles might have improper installation of electrical terminals in the main fuse block and connector. If this condition is left as it is, there is a possibility that the terminals in question may come out of position in the main fuse block and/or the connector thereby causing a malfunction of related electrical circuits.

Detailed procedures for this program are shown on attachment sheet I and II. The lefter to be sent to the owners is attachment sheet III.
