PINPOINT TEST 3: THE REVERSING LAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLY

Step 1:




Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) provides voltage to the digital transmission range sensor (TR) sensor, or the reversing lamp switch, through circuit (Y/V). When the transmission is placed in REVERSE, the digital TR sensor; or the reversing lamp switch, routes the voltage to the reversing lamps through circuit (BR/Y).

Possible Causes
- Circuit (BR/Y) short to voltage
- Reversing lamp switch
- Digital TR sensor
