DESCRIPTION

MERCON Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) will be replaced by MERCON V as a service fluid for manual transmissions.

Beginning immediately, all manual transmission applications requiring MERCON can now be serviced using MERCON V or dual usage fluids labeled MERCONMERCON V.





NOTE:
After July 1, 2007, MERCON ATF will no longer be manufactured, therefore, availability of this fluid will only continue until remaining inventories are depleted.

Customers (or repairs requiring transmission fluid replacement or adjustment) should have their vehicle serviced according to this information.
