Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Removal / Installation

ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 4.0L

1. Disconnect battery. See Procedures.

2. Partially drain the cooling system. See - Removal and Replacement.

3. Disconnect engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor connector.

4. Remove the clip and the ETC sensor. Discard the O-ring seal.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Install a new O-ring seal.
