Removal

1. Remove the transmission. See Automatic Transmission Removal / Installation.






1. Remove the bolts and the flywheel.

2. Clean and inspect the flywheel. See Flywheel Inspection.

Installation

NOTE:Special bolts are used for flywheel installation; do not use standard bolts.Install the flywheel.

- Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in two stages.
- Stage 1: Tighten the bolts to 13 N-m {1.3 kgf-m,10 lb-ft}.
- Stage 2: Tighten the bolts to 71 N-m {7.1 kgf-m, 52 lb-ft}.

2. Install the transmission. See Automatic Transmission Removal / Installation.
