FLYWHEEL INSPECTION - 4.0L1. Inspect the
flywheel for:

Cracks

Worn ring gear teeth

Chipped or cracked ring gear teeth
2. Use radial runout gauge to inspect the
flywheel ring gear runout.

Set the gauge on the
flywheel ring gear surface and turn the flywheel to measure runout.
