Ball Joint
FRONT LOWER ARM INSPECTIONRotate the
ball joint stud 5 times. Install the SST to the ball joint stud, measure the rotational torque using a pull scale.
If not within the specification, replace the lower arm.
Front lower arm ball joint rotational torque
- 3.2 Nm {33 kgf-cm, 28 in-lbf} max.
- Pull scale reading [32 N {3.3 kgf, 7.2 lbf} max.]
