Overhaul

COMBINATION SWITCH DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
- If the disc on the combination switch is deformed or has foreign material adhering to it, performance of the steering angle sensor may be reduced, causing abnormal operation. Do not remove the clock spring except when replacing the combination switch.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait 1 min or more.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Driver-side air bag module Standard Deployment Control System Two-Step Deployment Control System

b. Steering wheel Steering Wheel And Column Removal/Installation - Without Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System Steering Wheel And Column Removal/Installation - With Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System

c. Column cover Service and Repair

d. Clock spring Service and Repair

e. Combination switch Removal and Replacement

3. Remove the screws shown in the figures, then pull the light switch, and the wiper and washer switch in the direction of the arrow respectively to remove them.






4. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
