Ball Joint
FRONT UPPER ARM INSPECTIONRotate the ball joint 5 times. Measure the ball-joint rotational torque using an Allen wrench and a torque wrench.
Front upper arm ball joint rotational torque 1.76 Nm {17.6 kgf-cm, 15.6 in-lbf} max.
If not within the specification, replace the front upper arm.
FRONT LOWER ARM INSPECTION
Rotate the ball joint 5 times. Measure the ball-joint rotational torque using an Allen wrench and a torque wrench.
Front lower arm ball joint rotational torque 2.3 Nm {23 kgf-cm, 20 in-lbf} max.
If not within the specification, replace the front lower arm.
