Liftgate Glass Latch Removal/Installation

LIFTGATE GLASS LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION









NOTE:Make sure the liftgate glass is in the raised position.
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. See .

2. Disconnect the liftgate glass latch ajar switch electrical connector.





3. Remove the 2 bolts and the liftgate glass latch.
1 To install, tighten to 12 Nm {1.2 kgf-m, 106 in-lbf}.

NOTE:Mark the position of the liftgate glass latch prior to removing the liftgate glass latch bolts.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:The liftgate glass latch must be checked to make sure the latch is installed and aligned correctly.
