Brake Caliper Anchor Plate Removal/Installation




BRAKE CALIPER ANCHOR PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. See Service and Repair.

2. Remove the 2 brake caliper guide pin bolts and position the caliper aside.

- Support the caliper using mechanic's wire.

CAUTION:Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.
3. Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts.

- To install, tighten to 175 Nm {17.8 kgf-m, 129 ft-lbf}.

4. Remove the brake caliper anchor plate.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
