Transaxle Support Insulator - LH Removal/Installation




TRANSAXLE SUPPORT INSULATOR - LH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION













1. Remove the air cleaner (ACL) assembly.
a. Remove the ACL assembly bracket bolt.

b. Disconnect the mass air flow sensor (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

c. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose from the ACL outlet pipe.

d. Detach the wiring fastener from the ACL assembly.

e. Disconnect the engine breather from the ACL assembly.

f. Loosen the ACL outlet pipe clamp at the throttle body (TB) and remove the ACL and ACL outlet pipe assembly.





2. Install the Engine Support Bar, Support Leg and Adapters.





3. Install the Engine Lifting Chains.





4. Remove the LH support insulator.
a. Remove the LH support insulator through bolt.
i. To install, tighten to 103 Nm {10.5 kgf-m, 76 ft-lbf}.

b. Remove the LH support insulator nuts.

c. Remove the LH support insulator bolts.

d. To install, tighten to 48 Nm {4.8 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf}.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
