Liftgate Latch Removal/Installation
LIFTGATE LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION 1.
Remove the liftgate
trim panel. See .
2.
Disconnect the liftgate latch electrical connectors.
3.
Remove and discard the 3 liftgate latch bolts.

To install, tighten to 12 Nm {1.2 kgf-m, 106 in-lbf}.
4.
Remove the liftgate latch.
5.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Lubricate the liftgate latch to striker surfaces after installation.
