HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
3. Remove the following parts:
- (1) Front scuff plate (Double cab) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

- (2) Rear scuff plate (Double cab) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

- (3) Rear seat back (Double cab) (See REAR SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (4) Rear seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (Double cab) (See SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (5) C-pillar trim (Double cab) (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (6) B-pillar lower trim (Double cab) (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (7) Front seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (Double cab, regular cab) (See SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (8) B-pillar upper trim (Double cab) (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (9) Remove the roof side trim (Freestyle cab) (See ROOF SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (10) B-pillar trim (Freestyle cab, regular cab) (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (11) A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (12) Rearview mirror (See REARVIEW MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
-
- (13) Interior light (See INTERIOR LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Disconnect the roof wiring harness connector and detach the roof wiring harness connector clip from the body.
5. Disconnect the rear washer hose.
6. Disconnect the antenna feeder connector.
7. Remove the Assist handle.
8. Remove the Sunvisor and adapters.
9. Remove the fasteners, then remove the headliner.
10. Remove the headliner from the vehicle through the passenger-side door.
11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
