FLOOR COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Double Cab

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front seat (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear seat (See REAR SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  B-pillar lower trim (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Rear seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (Double cab) (See SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Cut away the floor covering as shown in the figure.

Note

•  The cut part does not need to match up when installing the floor covering.

4.  Remove fasteners.

5.  Take the floor covering out from the opened liftgate.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Regular Cab, Freestyle Cab

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front seat (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear scuff plate (Freestyle cab) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Front seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (Double cab, regular cab) (See SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  B-pillar trim (See B-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Cut away the floor covering as shown in the figure.

Note

•  The cut part does not need to match up when installing the floor covering.

4.  Remove fasteners.

5.  Take the floor covering out from the opened liftgate.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
