DTC B1033[61] TPMS Auto Location Error (Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Prioritized DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is DTC U1821[86] set at the same time?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])) DTC U1821[86] Invalid Data Received from ABS".

No

=>Go to EHCU DTC check.

3. EHCU DTC check

1) Observe whether a wheel speed sensor DTC is set in the EHCU on a scan tool. Is a wheel speed sensor DTC set in the EHCU?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

No

Test run

4. Test run

1) Perform a test drive in which the accumulated driving time is 10 minutes or more at 30 km/h {19 mph} or more.

2) Stop the vehicle.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Wireless access module replacement.

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. Wireless access module replacement

Note

  • After replacing the wireless access module, programming must be performed.

=>Go to Repair verification.

6. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Perform a test drive in which the accumulated driving time is 10 minutes or more at 30 km/h {19 mph} or more.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
